WELCOME to my homepage. You arrived here one of two ways. 1st) you made a wrong
turn or 2nd) you don't have a life. I will attempt to tell you a little about myself. I was born
in Texas and raised on the Peninsula in Calif. I attened grammer school and my first two years of High School in Redwood City,Califoria,

homeported in Norfolk,Virgina. I am what is called a Plank owener of the USS American. A Plank owner is one of the first crew members of a ship. I was aboard the ship for one (1) year. My last 19 months was spent in Viet Nam. I was assigned to duty on a river patrol boat. My duty was to patrol the small rivers and the main shipping channel in Viet Nam. We worked with the Navy Seal teams,Green Berets and any other armed forces.
I enjoyed woodworking, Country and Western music and the motown sound.
I also enjoy football and my favorite team is the San Francisco 49ers.
My favorite country singers are Alan Jackson,Reba McEntire, and George Jones.
Those are just a few singers I enjoy.
By trade I'm a Truck Driver. I have driven over the road, line, and local.
At the present time I live in Fresno,Calif. I'm an active member in the NorthPointe Community Church.I enjoy what I do with my church and look forward to a long and lasting relationship. On August 23,2003 I committed myself to the Lord and I was Baptised in my backyard. I was blessed to have family and friends over to see me get Baptised.

A Brief History of my Naval service
I spent my bootcamp training in San Diego, Calif. My first duty station was Ohau, Hawaii. I spent six (6) months there. I took in the sites and went wild boar hunting. That was something I will never do again. After Hawaii I was sent to pre-comission school in Norfolk, Va. This was to get me ready to be one of the first crew member to go aboard the aircraft carrier USS America. Being a member of the first crew to be assigned to the ship, also means that I'm a plank owner. So when the ship is de-commission I'm entitled to a part of the ship.
while aboard the ship I went to Cuba, Virgin Islands and the Med. I was aboard the USS America for a year.
My next duty was to go to San Diego for Survial training and PBR training. Survial training consisted of learning to live in the desert and a mock POW camp. PBR training taught us how to operate a 32 foot river gun boat. From san Diego I went to the Phillipines for jungle training. When that was over I was sent to Viet Nam for duty.
My job was to patrol the Saigon river and check all vessels going up or down the river. This also included the local sampans and junks. After about 6 months of this duty myself (I was a 3rd class petty officer) and a 3rd class Gunnersmate was assigned are own patrol boat.
This was a honor cause that position is usely assigned to a 2nd class or above. We where the only 3rd class in are the river patrol division to have are own boats. I spent 19 months in Viet Nam. As strange as it may sound I enjoyed the duty. After my tour in Viet Nam I was discharged. My 4 years was up. Those where great years.
